Lombez is located in the southern part of Gers, in the hills, at 40 km from Auch, 50 km from Toulouse and 1:15 from the Pyrenees.
This pretty village is known to possess a cathedral of the 14th century built on the model of the Jacobins in Toulouse. The ancient city also retains a beautiful hall, half-timbered houses and an interesting "city tour".
This is an ideal base for exploring Gers, Samatan and its fat market (the largest market of "foie gras" in France!), the Cistercian abbey of Boulaur where you can attend offices sung in Gregorian langage, the castle Caumont and numerous villages that have retained their authenticity: Castelnau-Barbarens, Simorre, Gimont, Cologne...
You will be enchanted by our region, traveling the roads that follow the peaks and offer magnificent views of the hills dominated by the Pyrenees.
